Tony Allen spent 30 years in the Suffolk Police as a career detective, specialising in port and transport orientated crime retiring at the rank of Superintendent, followed by 14 years as a Security Manager with a leading logistics company.
In addition, he has chaired the Road Haulage Association Security Forum for ten years by invitation and has chaired the Eastern Region Truckwatch Scheme since inception.
Once awarded Security Manager of the Year by the National Security Excellence Awards panel for
demonstrating a clear strategic policy, leading to a
large reduction in insurance premiums. Awarded a
commendation at Nottingham Crown Court for the manner he arrested a man in difficult circumstances while stealing part of his load.
He has maintained established close links with Police and enforcement agencies thus ensuring any investigations are recorded and acted on.
